Review: Unlike many of the current crop of police dramas macho Head Guard plays mainly in the arena of everyday challenges of patrolling the streets of South Central Los Angeles in the division Shootin Newton. In contrast to the stunning LA Confidential, A History timeline, the head of the Guard is in the style of cinema verite - a truly realistic police services in the War of Los Angeles.
