Review: Absolute cheese on a stick, but Top Gun proves that this is not always a bad thing. This movie has it all - one arrogant prodigy who'd be on your ass if it was not so good, a more sensitive ugly best friend, a love interest (but is a bit of confusion) an archenemy and his mute assistant, some legal high fives and catchphrases an emotional death scene, a scene of victory euphoria and of course some unforgettable action scenes. What child any more red blood eighties could ask? And anyone born around 1980 will remember how everyone was doing it double high five and saying talk to me, Goose for the child at his side in the classroom. Certainly one of my favorites of all time.
