Review: MAMA, the film executively produced by Del Toro follows the story of two girls found in the desert for five years. They will be taken after his uncle Luke (Nikolaj Coaster-Waldau) and his girlfriend Annabel (Jessica Chastain), and immediately, strange things begin to happen. While trapped in the Forest, Victoria (Megan Charpentier) and Lily (Isabelle Nelisse) formed a guardian to protect and care for them, they call Mama.This is an excellent film. Keep in mind, however, that it does not become dependent on the jump scare to scare you, but they'M I want to make a real jump scares. There is a cat without breaking a corner, or a shoe that falls from the sky. Mama used to CGI, creating disturbing images with a dark orchestral soundtrack to a tense scare pants. The acting was also fantastic, especially Jessica Chastain and Megan Charpentier. Isabelle was solid, but I had a feeling that before every take, he was told what to do, but Megan was old enough to understand the script and the story. Something that really impressed me was the attention, and how well the relationship between mother and daughter filmed. Photo was also one of the most beautiful work I've seen a horror movie. The camera work was ongoing and Dolly shots were soft and full of excitement. Overall, Mama was a scary horror movie with a beautiful story and wonderful camera work. I hope that this film has been recognized as a classic for years to come. This film also shows that the PG-13 horror movies can be scary, after all. 9/10.
