Review: Sandy and Danny, their names alone do not mean anything, they present the film we all know and love that brought us the Summer Nights and greased Lightnin. Grease is the infamous musical-play turned movie, adapted and production of Alan Carr, chartering summertastic rock 'n' roll of the 1950s, centering on the ups and downs of a group of teenagers in high school, Rydell high.The film opens with two people that have a summer romance, Sandy (Newton-John) fear, naive, brake Australian girl and Danny (Travolta), a jack-guy T birds. After the opening credits, funny cartoons of the main characters, we see the two known groups of teenagers, pink T Bird house and go back to school after the summer holidays. The rest of the film centers mainly on the relationship Sandy and Danny, the problems they face, and the ups and downs of their high school plague. The main characters and the unusual pairing of Sandy and Danny makes for a comfortable viewing.My favorite part of the movie is the music in this movie is such a brilliant soundtrack. If you have the opportunity to watch a movie on DVD, you get the added bonus of a songwriter. However, with the musical film you will find some of the unrealistic when they sing, what a group of guys to sing Summer Nights for example? However, that in addition to songs, mostly banal love songs are addictive and easy to pick unfortunately, will be in your head all day. Grease had a generous budget, as the films made today, but it is directed by Randal Kleiser 1978 still manages to have a great audience appeal. His scenes and costumes are the first and probably will not break the bank in production, but it all adds to the realism of the film film.I and can watch it again and again. Newton-John's debut performance is fine, but her character is too Sandy 2D and no depth. Travoltas performance to perfection, and this film tested his film career. Danny 3D, it can be a loving, self-serving, as the Savior, and the winner, while Sandy I'm just bored. All of the characters bring something different to the film to make it a success. Rizzo is a hard nosed cow, irritated Sandy, perhaps jealous, who seeks revenge against her boyfriend, going out with his sworn enemy. There is also Marcy, who loves men and lots of boyfriends, and the Frenchman, who is Sandys best friend who is caring.This rise, capturing the audience the film can be a bit cheesy, but there's so much to love about it, especially the soundtrack and dance moves! This gives it the durability makes it such a great film that could be the best musical ever made. This classic movie deserves a 5/5 just for groovy! But I just can not stop thinking why it's called grease?
